Full Spectrum Reproductive “SEx Ed” Health Class
for 7th & 8th Grades
Full spectrum reproductive health education courses are taught in a warm, engaging manner and tailored to the age and specific needs of each class
Topics covered include: milestones of puberty, reproductive anatomy, bodily functions, healthy relationships, seeking support from trusted adults, gaining access to health resources, reproduction, contraceptive options, condom usage, STD facts and prevention, active communication, and other topics pertinent to adolescents
Classes can be adjusted to meet specific needs or address requested additional content, such as social media, girls’ puberty/menstruation classes, teenage pregnancy, sexual trafficking, and more
California mandates that young teenagers receive comprehensive “sex-education” at least twice before entering high school
Reproductive Health Classes include lecture, books, handouts, videos, diagrams, models and demonstrations. Student participation and questions are highly encouraged

Puberty Education Course for Grades 5 & 6
This class covers many of the physical and developmental changes that occur during puberty. Topics covered in this class will cover the basics regarding physical changes, functions of the reproductive system, being respectful of each other’s bodies and feelings, healthy communication, hygiene and self-care, maintaining stress, promoting healthy self-esteem, talking to trusted adults, and tools for clear communication and boundary setting.
Taking puberty courses while in elementary school help to prepare youth for middle school, adolescence and also fosters understanding and greater comfort with the many topics covered.

Nutrition & Lifestyle counseling
One on one or group sessions will address current eating patterns, exercise, stress factors, and lifestyle. Common barriers to health are addressed, with encouraging, solution based suggestions for obtaining optimal health. Incorporating information about whole foods, creative meal planning, healthy relationships, lowering stress and active lifestyle tools are shared. The goal of nutrition and lifestyle counseling are to increase overall health through bettering nutrition, creating realistic goals and working towards a balanced & healthy life. These sessions can be with one individual or geared towards school or adult groups.

Parent Information Workshops
Tips & Tools for Navigating Puberty & Adolescence
Join other parents and guardians to learn about the many aspects of puberty in a warm group setting
Topics Covered Include
· Creating positive communication between parents and their child; starting conversations, asking questions and encouraging dialogue
· Normal body changes and functions during puberty.
· Navigating feelings & adjustments to this stage of life
· Normal milestones of puberty
· Promoting healthy self-esteem, setting boundaries, understanding social pressures, peer acceptance, and the cornerstones of healthy relationships

· Gender, Sexuality, Relationships, Self Care
· Common Questions & Concerns
This class can also be structured as Parent/Child Workshop where parents bring their child and as a group we will cover the above topics in an interactive and inclusive manner; fostering communication, trust and comfort with the journey through adolescence.

High School Level Sex education Class
The is course covers real life issues confronted by most high school aged teens. An overview of the reproductive system and functions, sexuality, gender, consent, healthy relationships, and positive self esteem. Condoms, birth control, abstinence, signs and symptoms of STDs, clinic services, testing, finding trusted adults, and making safer, healthy life choices.
Comprehensive information of all subjects is given in warm group settings. Course content includes lecture, videos, displays, questions & answers, and group activities.
